Covering the Lincolnshire area
Common canine behavioural problem examples:
- Separation anxiety
- Aggression (towards other dogs, animals or people)
- Destructive behaviour
- Over excitable behaviour (jumping up etc)
- Sound & sight phobia
- House toilet training issues
- Coprophagia (eating of faeces)
- Mouthing and play biting

Behavioural issues are typically not suitable for a basic training session as they require a deeper look into the problem via analysis of the dog’s behaviour and health.
These sessions can be broken down into phases.
Phase 1:
Get in touch via a phone call, this way you can get a feel for the positive techniques I offer and you as the owner can ask any questions.
After the phone call there is no pressure to book a session. During the phone call I will fill out a form which will have all the information I need about your dog:
- Age
- Breed
- Issue
- Medical issues (if any)
- General background
If you would like to book a phone call for a time to suit you, please get in touch.
Phase 2:
This is the actual behavioural session where we put a training plan into place that is tailored specifically to you and your dog as no case is the same with each dog being different and responding to methods in different ways.
Usually, this will take place in your home environment where your dog is most comfortable so as not to put any added stress upon the dog. It is easier to get a feel of the behavioural issue in the dog’s usual environment which enables me to put a more specific training plan into place.
I will ensure that you are happy, comfortable and confident with the training plan during the session by going through in detail what to do in every circumstance. We will practice any techniques and methods and please feel free to ask any questions during the session. It is important that all aspects are understood so no question is deemed irrelevant.
All methods and techniques I use are built around a positive experience for both you and your dog which in turn builds a solid bond between dog and owner rather than implementing a fear tactic. I will be constantly aware of how your dog responds to each method put into place to ensure your dog is as comfortable with the process as possible which will result in a more positive and consistent outcome for you both to help your dog succeed.
Phase 3:
After the session I will write up a report which includes my findings during the session, the plan put into place and any additional information. This means that during the session itself you can concentrate on the practical element and have the report to read over to ensure you are following the training plan correctly.
Phase 4:
A free follow up session to see how you and your dog are getting on with the plan and reiterate any points that need improving. Included in the price is a further third free session which you can claim up to 4 months after the first session. This is to ensure I can offer you any additional support during the adaptation period with your training.
Phase 5:
Phone call, email, or video call support is also available to any clients and there is no time limit on this as I am here to ensure you can help your dog to be the happiest dog it can be.
Price:
£180.00*, includes all 5 phases. £65.00 non-refundable deposit to be paid upon booking to secure your consultation. The rest is to be paid on the day on the consultation.
*Prices may vary dependant on distance required to travel
There is a late cancellation fee for either of your two free follow ups after your behaviour consultation. These follow ups are free but unfortunately I am having to introduce a fee of £15.00 for any cancellations of your follow up with less than 24 hours notice. If you neglect to pay this fee within the following 24 hours (the day after your original booking) you lose the ability to claim any of your follow ups. I understand issues may come up but I have a large demand of people wanting to get booked in with me and this will enable me to do so more effectively.
